White Birch

Sunset on Indian Lake

The sun broke under a very heavy cloud cover around 6:25, dropped below the tree line, lighting the sky a brilliant orange along the way, and was gone by 6:45. Night fell quickly afterwards, and the sky was black by 7. A good call. Maybe next year...

The Fall Of The Leaf

An early Autumn storm has descended on our little cabin like a unexpected guest. Pine needles and leaves cover the drive. The lake is dark and disturbed, awakening to the winter winds. It seems way too soon to button things up.

Shaker Village Photos
