Kathy and I stopped in Mansfield, Vt on the way back from gathering stones for her sculpture exhibition. Here's some past work:

Our car was riding low all the way home but it was a fun quickie vacation and we love The Carving Studio. Some wonderful pieces of 3-d art all over the place.

This Todd was the only surviving son of Abraham, and after graduating from Harvard he went on to become very wealthy. His home is pretty much the way he left it, and, yes, the hat above is the one Abe is famous for. But he lost most of his kids, and with his only surviving daughter now gone the line is at an end. Sad finish to an amazing family.
Many of the furnishing caught my eye, as did the spectacular garden and grounds. Some the rooms were quite dim, shot at ISO 800 and 1600. Added some grain in Lightroom, and many of the shoots are single image HDR a la Photomatrix. I've been once again playing with Final Cut and I have enough from this little self-imposed exercise to make some kind of a movie. Stay tuned...
