This unfortunate dragonfly was snared during the night in one of the many spider webs we have around and about our deck. I grabbed the macro lens and went to work. We tolerate their webs... thanks to these busy little predators we have very few mosquitos biting us. BTW, Kathy made me free the dragonfly after the shoot but it was too late. BTW2, although many of the shots were fuzzy, using the continuous shooting mode I was able to get a few sharpies, even without the pod. ASA 1600, 1/60 at f/4.

Revisiting The Big Buddha
A rainy day is a good one to revisit places we've been, and oh, my gosh, I've found some keepers amongst the 4000 mostly record shots and frantic photos from the Thailand trip. In Bangkok we found a gigantic golden Buddha in a wonderful old temple whose name is long gone in my memory but the amazing god still quite vivid in the brain. Stay tuned for more tomorrow.

The colors of Hazard
Drawn back to Hazard Rocks once again. I love the bright harsh light at high noon and the puddles that are created by the tides. Shot some these with the Nikon and the IR with the old converted Canon.
